JOB CATEGORIES:

GENERAL MANAGERS:
Oversee state-of-the-art 40,000-70,000 sq. ft. fitness facilities in Kentucky, Ohio, and Tennessee, with new markets opening soon.

Looking for top performers in a fast-paced industry.

Five or more years of fitness club management required.

Duties include management of membership sales staff, retail, club operations, and customer service.

Generous benefits package.

FITNESS CONSULTANT:
Promote and sell memberships to potential new members as well as selling renewals/upgrades to current gym members.

Major Responsibilities

Generate sales, follow up on all prospects, conduct telephone inquiries, conduct gym tours, and maintain fitness planner by using established Urban Active sales systems.

Establish and maintain minimum number of lead boxes in community on monthly basis.

Establish and maintain minimum required referral program as defined by Urban Active.

Remain current on Urban Active pricing and promotion schedule.

Maintain knowledge of Urban Active history, background, philosophy, facilities, staff, and policies.

Prepare, attend, and actively participate in sales meetings, and assume responsibility for developing selling skills.

Support other staff members in achieving their goals.

 Requirements

Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills.

Must be able to successfully pass all testing requirements, including fitness center tours, telephone inquiry, counselor planner audit, guest card audit, lead box program, referral program, and corporate outreach program.

Ability to achieve acceptable level of units per month.

Thorough understanding of membership sales system.

Basic computer skills.

CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE:
Working with potential members in sales-oriented, professional atmosphere.

PERSONAL TRAINER:
Dynamic, ambitious personal trainers, with a passion for helping members reach their health and wellness goals through personal training. Hourly wages, plus commission.

Major Responsibilities

Broaden knowledge of nutrition and how to apply to everyday lifestyles.

Create dynamic exercises to maximize the value of the members’ fitness experience.

Map out workout programs to guide all clients to their fitness goals.

Develop safe, professional, exciting, and comprehensive personal training programs to ensure client satisfaction with their workout and motivation to achieve personal fitness goals.

Monitor and instruct clients during personal training session on safe and effective use of cardiovascular, flexibility, and strength training equipment.

Educate members on current health and fitness issues and trends.

Conduct fitness consultations for new clients to assess and recommend personal training programs.
